Photovoltaic
The sun, as a resource not subject to depletion and characterized by high production efficiency, is a renewable source of great importance for the planet, especially for its own distinguishing sustainability.
Solar energy exploitation involves the transformation, through specific modules, of the radiations coming from the sun into direct current, without moving parts. The photovoltaic cell, base module for solar energy conversion, is made in semiconductor material which allows light absorption and the separation of the electric charges originating from excitation of the electrons hit by radiations, through a process which ends up in the production of electricity at low costs and above all by exploiting a resource not subject to depletion.
